Collective Blooms, 2020
oil on linen
40”H x 40”W
ARTWORK STATEMENT:
“Collective Blooms” depicts the back of a stretched canvas with a portal guarded by two anonymous figures. I imagine that portal leading to a mysterious space of hope and action. In this “Ark” one can unlearn and reconfigure a new reality.
